Leadership Mentoring

When I became a head teacher I craved someone to talk to who would understand what I was facing, not judge my mistakes and help me find a better way.

I needed someone who had not only been there… but had overcome and would spend time with me, to help navigate my journey. In short I wanted an advocate, someone who was on my side and understood the path I was on.

Eventually I increased my resilience, courage and the humanity needed to be a head teacher in the 21st century. Advocates did come my way and helped me to find success. Now it’s your turn and I am here to help!

Head teachers / newly appointed head teachers / senior leaders

Recognise any of these scenarios?

  • Working through staffing situations / re- organisations  / statutory processes

  • Balancing work with home and the emotional rollercoaster of leadership

You are already a successful leader (otherwise you would not be in post) and you have reflective nature (otherwise you would not be looking at this website). It is about the level of success for you and for your school community; don’t work in isolation any longer, inventing your own wheels and suffering undue stress.

Embarking on a coaching relationship is a positive step for you, it was the best thing I ever did as a leader: making the investment to have a personal advocate for my leadership. Let me introduce you to the concept of cornerstone leadership, it was the powerful bedrock for my school community.

Why not book a free 20 minute phone call? Talking is always the best place to start.
